Every HOTH X campaign gives you access to our Campaign Report on any device. With the Campaign Report, you can monitor your current rankings, monthly traffic, view progress of your high-priority keywords, and discover brand new keywords that you could be ranking for.

Over the last 6 months, we’ve been taking your feedback and reworking our reports to make them easier to read and more effective, and now we’re ready to show you what we’ve done.

We just rolled out an upgrade to the report and added features to make it easier to find exactly what you’re looking for. From a new UI design to updated graphs, this article will cover all the new features.

New Design Focused on “At-A-Glance” Metrics

The first and most obvious change is the revamped UI design. We worked hard to give the data more room to breathe and make it easier to read.

One of the biggest things that we hear from clients is they want to see their main stats right upfront.

Each section starts with “at-a-glance” metrics that give you a quick overview so you immediately know the status of your campaign.

Quickly Find What You Need With New Navigation

We reorganized the report to better convey our process and make it easier to find what you need.

  • Rankings lets you know how your domain is doing in terms of traffic, keywords, and backlinks.
  • Progress focuses specifically on what we’re working on to improve your campaign. You’ll find a list of your high-priority keywords with ranking and positioning information. You’ll also find a section where you can find all your order reports.
  • Keyword Research will have all the sections dedicated to finding more keywords to add to your arsenal.

Search and Sort Your Data

Tables in SEO reports can easily become loaded with information and overwhelm any reader.

We added a couple of features to help you find the right information quickly.

If you know what keyword you’re searching for, or what words it may contain, you can use our new search feature to narrow down the list of results:

Campaign Report Search

You can also sort each column by ascending and descending order! This is especially useful when you need to check your top or bottom ranking keywords to assess what to work on next.

Sort by Position

Click on the keyword difficulty column to see which keywords are easier to focus on or sort by volume to get a better idea of what people are searching for. You’re in control of the data now.

Interact with your Graphs

We switched to a more modern data-visualization library that allows us to do more with each data set.

Each graph is now fully responsive, better performing, and more interactive. The new library will also allow us to add more features like major Google updates annotations and zoom functionality on graphs to let you make the most of each data set.

To kick off our backend redesign we’ve shipped a new welcome dashboard to give you more valuable information about your orders as soon as you log in.

What Is Web Copy?

Web Copy is the content that lives on your website to tell the world about you, your products, and your services.

You’ll notice that we have 3 types of options when it comes to ordering Web Copy to make sure you get exactly what you’re looking for.

Use this option if you’d just like us to just create the content. Our team of writers will craft quality content for the pages of your site. You’ll be able to review, edit, or send back for revisions.

HOTH Optimization Only

This service was originally called “HOTH Onpage” and has now been integrated into Web Copy. Use this option if you’d just like us to keyword research & optimization suggestions. We’ll send you a report for your pages that will help you determine the best keywords to optimize your page for, plus natural optimization for each element of your page including Title tags, Meta Descriptions, H1s, and Alt Image Texts.

Web Copy + HOTH Optimization

Use this option if you’d like both writing & optimization suggestions. Our writers will create written content for your site, plus an optimization report for any of the pages you’ve ordered with us.

User-Friendly Platform

Creating a user-friendly ordering process was a top priority of ours.

We’ve introduced several improvements to the new platform to make placing and tracking your Web Copy orders as easy and efficient as possible.

Here is what you get with our new platform:

  • A more streamlined order form to guide you through the process
  • An improved tracking system so you can check in on the progress of your order
  • The ability to review, approve or reject an order right from your account

Do you find it difficult to manage content approvals while juggling multiple clients?

In the past, you may have had to transfer content into a document, send to your client, then come back and re-transfer the information back to the portal.

It’s an endless game of a copy-and-paste middle man, with no additional value in the middle.

Wouldn’t it be nice if there was an easy way to give clients the ability to directly approve, reject, edit, or provide feedback to content… without any extra work on your end?

Well folks, today is the day!

In this update, I’ll show you the new white-label content approval feature we just rolled out.

Let’s get into it!

Accessing The White Label Content Approvals

In your HOTH customer dashboard, you can access your white-label content approval link by clicking the arrow next to ‘Review Topic Suggestions’ or ‘Review Articles’.

You can send this link directly to your client to handle all the content approvals!

The Content Approval Experience

You’ll notice that this link is on a third party domain so your client will never know the HOTH exists.

Here is what the client experience looks like when you send them their unique approval link:

1. Topic Review

When the client opens up the white-label URL, they see any topics and articles awaiting review for that order.

The first action a client can take is to reject or approve the topic.

If they reject the topic, their response will automatically be updated in The HOTH system.

Once we re-work the topic, we’ll display the new topic on the white-label site for approval. There’s no work needed here on your end.

If they accept the topic, they’ll see it as ‘Topic Approved’. Once the topic is approved, it automatically goes to the article creation process.

2. Article Review

Once the article(s) for the order are created they’ll be available for review on the white-label approval tool.

There are three actions the client can take: approve the article, reject the article, or edit the article.

If the article is approved, they’ll see it as ‘Article Approved’ and will be able to view it immediately.

If the article is rejected, it will go back to our team for edits.

If the client would rather make a few quick changes themselves, they can do that as well! Then they can approve the article, or reject for further edits.

3. Order Status

The site also displays ‘Next Steps’ so that your client knows what to expect next with their order. This is displayed with both topics and articles, rejected or approved.

Conclusion

Now you have an easy way for your clients to directly review their HOTH Blogger orders with no unnecessary back and forth.

Do you want great looking, easily sharable, white label reports for your clients?

Great news – The day is here!

For the last 3 months, we’ve been working diligently on dramatically improving our reports.

As of today, we’re rolling out our brand new reporting on most products, and you’ll see even more in the coming weeks.

In the past, we have traditionally focused on just executing the deliverables, but now our reports will better reflect the effort we put into the production process.

With our new and improved reports, we wanted to tackle 3 major areas:

  1. Ease of Use & Shareability
  2. Style Continuity & All-In-One Reporting
  3. Process Transparency & Value

In this post, I’ll break down exactly what’s changing and the thought process behind these changes.

Let’s get into it!

1. Improving Ease of Use & Shareability

Ease of Use & Access

The first thing we wanted to tackle was the ability to access the report information without having to download a PDF or open excel.

Now you can click 1 button on your dashboard and instantly access your report in live HTML format – no downloads required!

Easily Share Your Reports

In addition, you’ll notice that the URL of the report is a white label – meaning you can instantly share this with a client without any connection to The HOTH. Each report URL is generated with a unique hash.

2. Style Continuity & All-In-One Reporting

Next, we wanted to tackle the disjointed nature of current reporting.

Style Continuity

We wanted to bring style and organizational consistency to the reports, so each report follows the same outline:

  1. Report Title
  2. Inputs
  3. Strategy
  4. Deliverables

In addition, we used the same style on each report to create consistency. You’ll notice it’s still unbranded / white label.

Here’s an overview of a complete report:

All-In-One Reporting

One of the issues that we face is that some formats work better than others depending on the type of data you are displaying.

For instance, when you have a lot of “small” data, a spreadsheet works best.

Other times, we need to display larger amounts of data or even multiple formats of content like blog articles, pictures, or even videos.

This resulted in having different formats for each report, from .pdf, to .txt to .xls, etc.

We wanted to achieve both the ability to create the entire report in one accessible format as well as get continuity in style, so we used HTML.

HTML reports allow for flexibility – displaying tables, text boxes, images, and interactive content.

This standardization of reports should allow for much better ease of use & consistency.

3. Process Transparency & Value

Often when clients would get a report, it would be hard to understand the value of the deliverable.

Whereas a simple link deliverable had gone through a large production process, it was difficult to understand what you were looking at.

We often heard reactions like “What am I supposed to do with this?”

To help solve this, we included a section called “Strategy” in every report that goes through the process that each deliverable went through and what it means.
