Hi Rachel, I read your previous article “How Many Links Does it Take to Get to Page 1 of Google?” and I liked it so I came back to see what else I can learn.

I’m sure we all agree that High-Authority backlinks from relevant websites are the most wanted and the most researched by SEOs.

However, my personal opinion is that a newly published site with low traffic should not have backlinks from very large and authoritative sites as it sounds unnatural.

My technique is to start with backlinks of little value but not garbage and slowly increase those from authoritative sites.

Even the diversification of the sites on which to put the backlinks is very important as well as the rationale of the anchor texts.
